Delete your account

In the app or on the website

1. Sign in to UHX, in the app or at record.universalhx.com.
2. Open Settings, and choose Delete My Account.
3. UHX shows you exactly what will be removed. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and enter your password to confirm.

Without signing in

Email uhx@universalhx.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request with you, then delete it within 30 days.

What is removed

• Your record, including everything imported from health systems and everything you added.
• Your documents and files, your shares, your emergency card, and your connections to health systems and practices.
• The record of any family member you are the only guardian of. A family member who has another guardian keeps their record with that guardian; only your access is removed.
• Your account, your sign-in details, your notification settings and devices.

What stays, and why

A few accounts cannot be deleted in one step, because deleting them would also remove information that belongs to someone else, such as a practice’s copy of forms you sent it. The app tells you when this applies and sends the request to our team, who complete it.

Copies held by your doctors, hospitals and practices are theirs and are not affected. Copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten on our backup schedule.
